Dolce Hawaii is a sister company of IL Gelato Hawaii. Both are expanding, fast-growing companies and we are seeking experienced commercial HVAC/R technicians for installing, servicing and repairing equipmentwith the ambition to grow with us! We are looking for happy multi-taskers who enjoy taking on rewarding responsibilities and love to interact with clients as well as our friendly and knowledgeable team!
Must possess solid diagnostic/troubleshooting skills, be able to work independently, and have a valid, clean driver’s license. On-call weekend rotation and seasonal overtime is required.
Individuals should be highly service and customer oriented, motivated, dependable and safety minded.
The Job:
- Efficiently diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment systems and components
- Manage and/or perform effective routine maintenance on small to large equipment
- Schedules and performs service calls and projects provided by management
- Maintains client satisfaction
- Timely completion and submission of work orders
- Maintains inventory of tools, components and supplies
- Coordinates with administration at every level
- Maintains and organizes company provided truck

Qualifications and Skills required:
- Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program/trade school/vocational program in HVAC and Refrigeration systems
- 4 years of commercial or industrial HVAC or Refrigeration service experience
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and service of commercial HVAC/R equipment including ice machines
- Valid Refrigeration License: EPA Type I & II required. (EPA 608 Universal will be accepted)
- High commitment to customer satisfaction
- Meeting deadlines and schedules
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must be good-natured, have good communication skills, enjoy interacting with people, and have good etiquette
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to work weekends and some holidays
- Able to work overtime if needed
- Must have basic hand tools necessary to complete work
