POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
SALARY: $50,000

FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt

Description:
The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including new hire
onboarding, new hire orientation, employee training, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role assists the
Benefit Coordinator with employees health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. In
addition, this role assists with employee-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The
Human Resource Coordinator assists in making that certain plans are administered in accordance with gaming, federal and state
regulations and that plan provisions are followed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.

Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters
at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
Responsible for new hire process.
o Prepares and facilities new hire orientation.
o Prepares new-employee files.
o Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
o Assigns Company Policies and Procedures to all employees.
Assists with health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents
through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Reconciles benefits statements, unemployment claims and garnishes.
Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Makes photocopies, mails, scans, and emails documents, and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Processes mail.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least two years related experience required.
SHRM-CP credential preferred.
Experience working in a similar setting preferred
Must adheres to performance standards, company policies and procedures, as they relate to the Company
Must have the ability to work flexible schedules
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Must be able to obtain a Gaming License

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
May be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
