The HRIS Analyst serves as a facilitator and functional resource for Jefferson’s Time and attendance application (workforce software). This position provides functional application expertise for various policy driven pay practices and leave administration. The HRIS Analyst will provide guidance for reviewing new business processes and solution designs to ensure that cross-functional teams fully understand the impact of decisions made during system configuration.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow HRIS employees to research and resolve errors, inquiries, and transaction requests.
  • Accesses current system and utilization; identifies and recommends improvements, customization and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency
  • Prepares reports and presents findings and recommendations to the HR director and other company leaders
  • Collaborates with other analysts and HRIS staff to plan, modify, and customize the HRIS and to test new applications and features.
  • Participate in meetings, as assigned, involving MyTime entry and leave/absence management functions.
  • Act as final level of support for Jefferson leadership on time and attendance issues from employees, supervisors and managers, also determine if an issue needs to be escalated to the MyTime vendor or if they can provide the configuration change needed.
  • Will analyze, monitor and resolve any identified issues within the time and attendance systems

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

Strong working knowledge of Workday.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Strong analytical, problem solving, customer service and communication skills.
An ability to multi task, focus and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
Must be familiar with time and attendance regulations and laws, such as Philadelphia Sick leave, NJ Sick leave, FLSA regulations and FMLA.

Skills needed:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving
  • Familiarity with the HR and department policies to ensure the time and attendance system meets the organizational needs and goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design
  • Ability to keep information confidential
