The Opportunity
Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA, and this position is available for hybrid work in WA and remote work in the following states: OH, NV, PA, TX, FL, and NJ.
Zulily is looking for a flexible, People & Organization Leader to provide to provide strategic and hands-on organizational support for our Marketing/Creative and G&A teams.You will report to the Director of People & Organization (HR).
In this role, you will apply your understanding of organizational priorities to inform and drive the short and long-term HR priorities for Zulily corporate leaders across Marketing/Creative and G&A teams. You will partner with the HR and business leaders to develop and deliver People strategies and planning activities to develop talent and support organizational capability. The role offers a collaborative environment where we work cross-functionally and draw from the expertise of centers of excellence partners to deliver solutions. You are motivated by developing talent, are data driven in your thinking about how to develop organizational capability and will share our passion for creating a fun and engaging shopping experience for our customers.

Your Impact
  • Oversee, guide, and help deliver talent management processes including performance management, talent development, talent review and succession, compensation planning. Prioritize programs that will deliver the most benefit to the business. Find and address risks to the delivery in partnership with HR Leadership and COE leads
  • Provide coaching to develop managers and leaders to help develop manager skills and capability
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to support effective prioritization and delivery of action plans that cultivate a culture that reflects the beliefs and values of the organization, drives engagement, and fosters belonging and inclusion for all team members.
  • Analyze people data in order to identify trends, provide leadership teams with the appropriate clarity for people related initiatives and priorities, and recommend solutions to improve team member engagement, performance, retention, and organizational performance
  • Assess manager and team member development training needs and drive engagement with relevant training and development resources.
  • Lead functional/Department project management of the delivery of People solutions, partnering with the COEs as necessary and directing the People and Org delivery partners on the localization and execution of key deliverables.
  • Identify, articulate, and provide relevant insights around the advanced development needs from business area to ensure needs are appropriately addressed and considered in strategy and priority formulation for People function and COE partners.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to meet the recruiting needs for the business; interview and assess manager level candidates; support the continued development talent assessment skills within the organization - ensuring a commitment to finding, growing and retaining talent
  • Understand changes in business unit, identify needs to advance the organization development of the business/team, and support delivery with the business (career frameworks, org design needs, change mgmt. needs, etc.)
  • Serve as lead for Team Member Relations (TMR) within your client groups, guiding process and documentation, issue spotting and root cause analysis; Mentor other P&O Partners on best practices in the identification of durable solutions to recurring TMR topics
  • May lead a direct report or serve as a dotted line leader to a direct report
What You Bring
  • Basic Qualifications:
    • BA/BS required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 5+ years’ experience in human resources or related field, including at least 3 years HR Business Partnership experience
