Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (Lighthouse) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Completes administrative tasks required within the Housing Department.
  • Ensures that the housing activities comply with LBHS policies and procedures.
  • Serves as liaison for the housing department and other LBHS departments.
  • Provides case management services to clients and completes their billing notes accurately and timely. 5. Supervises Housing Coordinators, Community Case Managers, Community Peer Supporters, and relevant housing staff.
  • Coordinate with Case Management Supervisor to provide comprehensive oversight of case management staff performance.
  • Responsible for housing management and works with the housing team to ensure safe and effective housing for the clients and their recovery.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep abreast of recovery housing vacancies. Monitor intake and discharges to correctly reflect current occupancy in recovery housing on the Housing Census.
  • Works with Housing Coordinators to monitor management of all Harbor Recovery Residence properties, including monitoring repairs and necessary maintenance orders.
  • Serves as liaison with other Lighthouse Departments regarding any communication relevant to the operations of the Housing Department. This is also including attending treatment team meetings with clinical providers as needed. Conducts follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all aspects of residency in the housing properties is completed, including selection and orientation of new residents, rent collection, rent calculation, conflict management and other requirements.
  • Completes forms and reports in the time frame required by the agency, certification, and funding sources. Works closely with Housing Intake Coordinator to ensure that an accurate and complete housing record for each resident in accordance with Ohio Recovery Housing standards and best practices.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled program, agency, collaborator meetings, supervision, and training. Attend trainings as identified by supervisor, including topics such as substance use/recovery, sober housing, and overdose prevention.
  • Maintain housing forms required to be submitted each week by clients participating in the housing program. Monitor adherence to program rules and requirements. Facilitate and enforce the rules from the Housing Handbook as required.
  • Monitor and maintain daily living supplies needed for recovery housing clients in Phase 0 Housing
  • Carry a cell phone during working hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and respond to all urgent calls within 30 minutes and all routine calls as soon as possible.
  • Maintain internal communications by notifying site supervisors with all relevant resident or program-based information.
  • Communicate program information to Resident Managers and monitor Resident Manager Support Group. Assist with the supervision and training of Resident Managers.
  • Keep abreast of community resources and make referrals, as needed. Maintains contact with other community professionals regarding the client’s progress, treatment recommendations and ongoing planning. Responds to community professionals within 24 hours of their contacting you.
  • Selects, implements, and utilizes progressive pro-social rewards, intervention and enforcement strategies that best fit the characteristics of the client. Verbalizes and demonstrates pro-social behaviors. Recognizes and reinforces pro-social thinking and behaviors. Recognizes antisocial thinking and behaviors and addresses them immediately, positively and in a non-threatening manner.
  • Assists client in their efforts to solve problems using various techniques.
  • Completes random drug urinalysis screens.
  • Attends staff meetings and in-service trainings.
  • Works closely with the Housing Director to establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale and teamwork; providing orientation and on-the-job training for staff; overseeing the daily responsibilities of direct reports to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed and the program/department goals are being met.
  • Not limited to other administrative or office management duties as assigned.
  • Conducts themselves at a high standard of professionalism and abides by the LBHS Code of Conduct of Ethical Behavior.

Will be covering both Lancaster and Newark offices.


Qualifications

Required:

  • CDCA or LSW
  • State of Ohio Driver's License

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or a directly-related human service field and Social Worker/Counselor licensure.
  • Must have an understanding and respect for addiction recovery.
  • Must be able to read and write
