About us

The Holiday Inn & Suites Charleston West is a full service, pet friendly hotel that features 150 guest rooms, a bar and grill, a state of the art Fitness Center, an indoor pool, a splash pad and a patio area for relaxing. Managed by Chesapeake Hospitality, our hotel is a great getaway close to the state capital with a friendly and thoughtful staff.

We are looking for a Server with a professional attitude and the ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently and without errors. Previous experience is required, and this is the ideal job for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers throughout the day. The successful candidates will be responsible for serving food and beverages to our customers and presenting the bill at the end of the meal.

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and/or drinks to patrons in a restaurant or establishment serving food or drink.
• Check identification when serving alcohol.
• Recognize potentially dangerous behavior and have a plan to deal with it.
• Follow health code regulations and maintain sanitary conditions of the establishment, including but not limited to keeping bathrooms clean, using hand wash when handling food and drink products, clearing dishes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
