Pay-rate: $25-35/HR DOE
Schedule: 5:00AM-2:00PM Monday-Friday

Our client, Road Machinery, is one of the top suppliers of product support solutions to the mining, quarries, production, and earth moving industries and we are seeking a DIRECT HIRE of HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
Our ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision and can accommodate unique build requirements from clients. We prefer candidates who have at least 3 years of prior hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will perform repairs and or rebuild service on Komatsu and other brands of heavy equipment so you should have strong diagnostic and repair skills.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 year of previous dealership experience
- Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of successful hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics, and be very experienced with the latest electronically controlled machines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently in performing repairs and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
- Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
- Self-motivated and professional
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screening
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic breakdowns on heavy equipment
- Create job plan based on diagnosis to include repair operations and anticipated repair hours need to complete repair.
- Prepare inspection, RCFA, troubleshoot and teardown reports.
- Organize, clean, and maintain a safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with Service Planner, and Supervisors to insure problems, nature of the repair, and status of those repairs are understood and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and/or management.
