Become a Guest Experience Host at the world-famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in the heart of Times Square and experience the glittering world of fame!
We offer $17.50 per hour, offer flexible schedules and a truly FUN Environment! Positions are Seasonal with an end date of September 6, 2023.
By submitting one application, you will be considered for all available Host positions: Admissions, Guest Experience, Retail, Food and Beverage.
About The Role
As a Guest Experience Host, you will help to create lifelong memorable experiences in our attraction for all of our guests. Whether it’s escorting our guests down the red carpet or taking a picture of them while they are striking a pose with world leaders...when you are part of Team Merlin at Madame Tussauds, you walk among the stars!
Working in a variety of positions across the attraction, you will drive repeat visits by delivering the highest possible standards of guest service and presentation, while sharing your Museum knowledge. You will ensure that our guests are having an optimal fun experience by connecting with them in a magical, fun, and safe environment. Positions require flexibility to be trained and placed in different areas of the attraction.
About Your Job

• Demonstrate an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service and deliver a great experience to our guests
• Deliver a strong sales approach, maximizing the department's sales and service goals.
• Pro-actively interact with our guests. Greet and engage with every guest you meet, sharing your enthusiasm and boundless amounts of energy and fun.
• Ensure that our extended queue lines are managed in a safe way while still delivering an excellent guest experience.
• Ensure all public areas have well stocked displays and point of sales are ready for the attraction opening and that the areas are maintained and kept in a clean, neat, and organized manner throughout the day.
• Always focus on guests first but make sure to adhere to the highest standards of accurate and efficient point-of-sale procedures
• Consistently adhere to position specific procedures as detailed in the department’s operating plan.
• Responsibility to ensure compliance of Health, Safety & Security within the workplace and in line with the Group Policy (HS001).
• Positions may require standing for extended periods of time.

About You

• Experience in a customer service role.
• Fun, dynamic, friendly, and engaging personality.
• Point-of-Sale register experience.
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
• Able to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, late evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
• Previous experience in a tourist attraction, hotel, retail or service industry environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
