Graphics and Web Designer (Onsite - Denver, CO)

The client is a digital marketing agency and video production company with locations in both Dallas, TX, and Denver, CO. They are seeking an experienced Graphics and Web Designer to join the team.

This individual will be responsible for curating the aesthetics of digital marketing campaigns and websites, including graphics creation, logo design, fonts, images, and web design. Knowledge and experience in web development and UX are desired as well.

Job Responsibilities

• Consulting with clients to understand their needs.
• Taking a key role in the design and layout of client websites and needed graphics for their digital marketing.
• Selecting and editing images for client websites and other digital marketing needs.
• Choosing fonts and color schemes for client websites and other digital marketing needs.
• Creating Photoshop Design File (PSDs) for digital marketing graphics and visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS.
• Testing client websites to ensure they are working correctly.
• Responding to reports of technical problems and working with the team to fix them quickly.
• Working with other teams to meet client initiatives.
• Using web content management systems.
• Project management.
• Keeping up to date on image editing software, CMS and coding innovations and software.

Skills Needed

• A working knowledge of a range of CMS, software, hardware and operating systems.
• Training in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Typescript, Atom.io, Jira, and Git.
• Knowledge of user experience design best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A flexible approach and a willingness to accept feedback and incorporate it into their designs.
• An understanding of the key principles of branding.
• Knowledge of typography.
• An understanding of color theory.
• Knowledge of user experience best practices.

Compensation

$70,000 to $100,000
