JOB TITLE: Games Maintenance Technician
REPORTS TO: Games Manager
DEPARTMENT: Games
PAY RATE: $18.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing a multitude of handyman tasks including light maintenance, cleaning, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other duties, as assigned. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail along with excellent organization and time management skills.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspects and helps make-ready all needed repairs and services in the Games Department
- Reports any safety issues or equipment concerns to the Games Manager and/or Games Manager on Duty.
- Maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all theme park games.
- Must maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Must have excellent customer service with all departments and park guests.
- Strong attention to detail along with excellent organization and time management skills.
- Follow all Elitch Gardens and department policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess oral and written English skills and be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members effectively.
- Experience with light plumbing, electrical, painting, general construction experience, and general maintenance repair.
- May be required to work in various weather conditions.
- Available to work overtime.
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- You will be working around heavy dust, water, and walk on uneven surfaces. Due to dust, dirt, fumes and noise, some work requires respirators and safety clothing.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; or smell.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a co-worker.
- Ability to work at heights up to 200’ above grade.
- Ability to distinguish color.
- Possess 20/20 corrected vision. (Corrective lens, if required, must be worn while on duty).
- Specific vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Possess normal or average corrected hearing. (Defined as 25 decibels or better in the frequency range of 500HZ-4000HZ considered normal speech frequency range). (If a corrective device is needed to achieve this range, it must be worn while on duty)
