Financial Crime compliance expectations are constantly evolving, requiring our Financial Crime consultants to adapt to challenging conditions, a wide breadth of client projects, and changing teams. At Crowe, our Financial Crime solution offerings range from Financial Crime audits and validations to Financial Crime technology implementation and enhancement, affording our consultants the ability to understand several aspects of Financial Crime risk management and provide opportunities to widen their breadth of expertise and knowledge.

As a System Implementation Manager in Crowe’s Consulting Practice, your role will be focused on helping clients implement financial crime technology solutions with outcomes that meet regulatory expectations. This role is responsible for managing the implementation of financial crime systems, including transaction monitoring, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Fraud, Watch List Screening, and Case Management, as well as, managing a team of BSA/AML professionals. The individual will have experience with implementing financial crime systems and a background which includes the understanding of financial crime system everyday use, including investigation processes.

This role will manage the execution of large-scale financial crime implementation engagements, and will be responsible for project planning, status reporting, budgeting, and managing Crowe resources, while providing financial crime implementation subject matter expertise. The activities the role will execute and/or oversee will include project management and advisory, business requirements, model coverage assessment, business process and workflow design, system configuration, data mapping, ETL, data validation, training, , and tuning/optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial crime prevention working at financial institutions and/or financial crime professional services / consulting
  • Experience working in a project-based environment managing full lifecycle implementations of financial crime prevention/detection systems
  • Deep knowledge of financial crime detection and prevention systems such as Actimize, Verafin, Oracle Mantas, and/or SAS
  • Experience managing a team of AML/BSA professionals and/or consultants
  • Knowledge of the laws applicable to money laundering, to include the BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC requirements and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
  • Skilled at collaborating and developing partnerships with clients, prospects, and colleagues
  • Strong writing, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and complete projects on time
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more annually, if needed

Preferences:

  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree with a concentration in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics/Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Experience using and implementing anti-fraud systems
  • Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (CAMS), or other relevant professional certification
  • Experience with Python, SAS, R, Rust, and/or similar technologies
  • Experience with data science, data analytics, SQL, and/or ETL tools
