National Fuel has an immediate, full-time opening for a Field Operator in our Operations department at our Hebron Field Office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repairs and maintains gas well equipment and pipeline systems
- Recording pressures, flows, valve inspections and removing line blocks
- Assist with well service rigs and construction crews
- Investigate all line locates
- Operate gas dehydration system and natural gas line heater
- Keeps all necessary operating records
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated mechanical ability
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Basic literacy is required. Ability to read, legibly prepare written documentation and have the ability to accurately interpret and analyze written information
- Basic computer knowledge for work order documentation
- The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather and the ability to work in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas
- Available to work Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm, with the ability to work rotation shift schedule from November 1 – April 1, including weekends and holidays.
- Applicants must live within 20 miles/30 minutes of the Hebron Field office, located at 896 State Route 44 North, Coudersport, PA 16915.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in plumbing, mechanical troubleshooting, and/or gas well tending

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with an hourly rate of pay of $29.86, 6 months $30.86 and 1 year $31.86.
