Green Bow Farm, a diverse and regenerative farm based in Kittitas Valley, Washington, is hiring in a farm hand. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: feeding and watering livestock, moving livestock, monitoring animal health and needs, fencing, grounds maintenance, knowledgeable in basic carpentry and routine equipment maintenance. $16-20/hr based on experience.
Applicant requirements:
- Responsible.
- Experience with farming / ranching / livestock
- Good physical health
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs.
- Able to communicate effectively
- Detail oriented
Observe and monitor livestock health
- Herd and corral livestock
- Load livestock in trailers
- Administrator basic veterinary requirements (vaccines, tagging, banding)
- Track and inventory feed
- Monitor and maintain pastures
- Maintain and repair fencing
