Statement of the Job

A facilities Team Member’s duties will vary depending on the four seasons, but generally entail maintaining the store and grounds, overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, determining and reporting for repairs, and ensuring safety measures are taken to prevent injuries. The Facilities Team Member reports to the Store Manager.

BATHROOMS

• Clean & sanitize, and stock (mirrors, dispensers, baby changing tables, hand dryers, sinks, toilets, urinals, floors, stall walls, doors, garbage receptables, rugs, windows.
• Stock soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, urinal screens
• Empty all trash cans, clean can if needed, and replace bags.
• Use all safety equipment (vest for outside, wet floor signs for inside, caution cones)

BEER CAVE/COLD VAULT

• Stock all coolers and beer cave.
• Stock & Organize product on the shelves/coolers - pull product to the front and face front.
• Check temperatures on freezers, beer cave, & cooler for approved temps. Notify the Manager if they are not.
• Sweep and mop the cooler floor.
• Make sure all the coolers are faced and stocked wit
• Make sure to keep safety #1, preventing slips, trips, and falls.

CLEANING STATION/SUPPLIES

• Keep cleaning products stocked and properly marked and kept away from food.
• Keep cleaning station clean (3-compartment sinks & mop sink)
• Make sure the Bag in a Box (BIBs) are connected and clean.
• Make sure the electrical panels are clear with easy access to them. Nothing should block panels.
• Make sure the food prep area is clean and free of debris.

DRY GOODS/BACKSTOCK

• Stock extra inventory from storage (cups, lids).
• Sweep and mop the backroom floor.
• Make sure the backroom is clean and organized.
• Show them how to pull all backstock and put it out on the shelves where visible.
• Make sure all backroom doors are shut and locked and not propped open.

FORECOURT GREENSPACE/PARKING

• Dust/Clean the top, front, and sides of outside storage bins (Renegade Race Fuels).
• Wipe down the windowsills on the outside.
• Empty all outside trash bins, clean trash bin, replace bags.
• Clean debris in front of store, parking lot, grass areas, flowerpots/beds, and sidewalks (cigarette butts,receipts, trash).
• Check and fill all windshield washer fluid stations and replace squeegee when needed.
• Check and fill paper towel dispensers at each gas pump.
• Clean all fuel pumps (front, sides and top, fuel handles & hoses).
• Make sure the canopy decking and poles are clean and painted.
• Make sure the dumpster area is clean and free of debris.
• Make sure the outside is free of any security cones, cement blocks, or any potential trip hazards.
• Make sure the building and lot is free of any visible damage.
• Make sure all pumps are in working order or have a maintenance ticket in for the issue.
• Make sure all pumps have the correct signage, pump toppers, security stickers, and prepay stickers.
• Make sure no unauthorized stickers, handwritten signs, or graffiti is present
• Make sure the pumps are clean and display the correct gasoline spreads, and clean nozzles with degreaser.
• Make sure the trash cans are empty with no liners showing.
• Make sure windshield valets are clean and maintained with towels in dispensers.
• Make sure pump islands and parking stalls are painted, if not, let your manager know.
• Make sure the sidewalk and parking bays are clean and free of gum and weeds.
• Use proper propane handling procedures.
• Consistently pick up litter outside lot for trash and spills, putting absorbent down on any oil or gas spills.
• Pressure wash or hose down sidewalk, lot, and pump pads.
• Pull weeds in grassy and mulched areas.
• Empty cigarette ashtrays as needed.
