Graham Technologies (GTECH) is looking for a Facilities Operations Specialist at Camp Smith, Hawaii, to join our fast-growing team of over 70+ members.

We are looking for a Facilities Operation Specialist to assist in the close-out of projects and task assignments for systems maintenance. These tasks require broad-ranging competency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, painting, and utility systems. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide support independently, as well as plan and accomplish tasks by determining optimal work methods and processes to accomplish program objectives and initiatives.
  • Maintain communication with the project sponsors and MCBH Facilities Department on all aspects of assigned projects to ensure stakeholders are informed of project status against the planned project baseline.
  • Assist and support with organizing facility planning, management, and other requirements shareholders coordination efforts for MCBH Facilities Department
  • Maintain issue log throughout all project phases. Shall be able to identify and have a clear understanding of all outstanding project issues, plans for resolution, status, and verification upon request by the Government.
  • Maintain project comment lists throughout all project phases. The contractor shall coordinate all comments with project stakeholders and ensure timely submission and response to comments made.
  • Initiate and coordinate project RFIs throughout all project phases. The contractor shall manage and track RFIs in a manner that facilitates timely response and resolution of the RFI.
  • Generate and provide other analyses, reports, and briefings as required to keep key stakeholders informed, enable decisions, and maintain project momentum.
  • Assist and facilitate Base facility inspections and reporting;
  • Perform work order and special project management, as well as data management utilizing varying specialty software applications.
  • Enable facilities maintenance requirements planning and assessment.
  • Provide logistics, technical support services; and program management and operations execution.
  • Exercises control and responsibility over all facilities, ensuring that necessary maintenance, repairs, alterations or modifications are accomplished for the facility, installed equipment and mechanical systems, and grounds.
  • Facilitate maintenance and repair program planning and execution, evaluate operation and

maintenance capability in terms of manpower, available resources, and materials, and plan project priorities to provide optimum service to occupant organizations. Assist with financial planning and control, including determining and forecasting funding requirements for facility operation and maintenance and related utilities and infrastructure and justifying budget requests to supervision.

  • Plan and conduct scheduled inspections in accordance with varying programs and oversight.
  • Inspect facilities to determine requirements for immediate or long-range projects; initiate requests for minor and/or major repairs and forward requests to the appropriate individual for approval when necessary.
  • Identify and document deficiency corrective action requirements, determine the category of work, determine if an emergency or regular action, and performs follows up to an appropriate model of work execution.
  • Review and recommend Collateral Equipment Requirements.

Manage critical initiatives, objectives, and all aspects of operations management associated with FSRM scope project requirements.

  • Possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Background knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, painting, and utility systems.
  • Working knowledge of the DoD and Marine Corps policies and regulations related to facilities planning and engineering projects of special and MILCON scope.
