The Snohomish Co-Op is looking for an energetic, focused leader. Preferred but not required is some "Farm and Feed" experience. This role is considered a Senior Leadership role and requires a foundation of business acumen. The ideal candidate is one who describes themselves as a "self-starter" and can work independently. As the Facilities / Logistics / Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Snohomish Co-op Delivery team, including scheduling of deliveries, managing the maintenance of the buildings, properties and equipment. This will include ensuring all Co-op vehicles and delivery trucks are up to current safety / road standards. This role is also responsible for the company wide safety program(s). This role reports directly to the General Manager, and the office is based in the Snohomish Retail location.


As Facilities / Logistics / Maintenance Manager you will also collaborate daily with the senior leadership team, including the finance team, procurement team, Training Manager and the Store Managers of both Snohomish and Monroe locations. The Facilities / Logistics / Maintenance Manager drives metrics and results through collaboration, training, setting clear expectations and creating an environment where inclusion and ownership are valued. The ideal candidate will not only have a successful track record with retail leadership competencies, driving results and developing team members, but also have a working knowledge of the "Farm and Feed" needs & lifestyle.


The Facilities / Logistics / Maintenance Manager role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some of the other leadership competencies that require a high level of skill include but are not limited to: Business Acumen, Time and Task Management, Developing People and Teams, Problem Solving, and Conflict Resolution.

Some of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Facilities / Logistics / Maintenance Manager include:

  • Engaging with the Co-Op members and customers daily.
  • Engaging with the store staff daily. (All work Centers including the Warehouse)
  • Product Knowledge
  • Some ordering
  • Managing the Co-op safety program(s)
  • Systems knowledge
  • Inventory Management
  • Delivery scheduling
  • Hands on maintenance needs
  • Hiring and training team members

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of Senior store leadership experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. (Including weekends and holidays)
  • Reliable Transportation
