Job Description:

The Extraction Technician 1 reports directly to the Extraction Manager. This role is consisting of extraction prep, post-processing, and contributing to maintaining a clean and safe lab environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Milling and preparing biomass for solvent and/or solventless extraction.

· Utilizing scales to record accurate inventory data on all cannabis products and non-cannabis inventory.

· Sanitation of all lab glassware, post-processing equipment/workstation, and lab general areas.

· Homogenization of THC concentrates for storage and to generate samples for 3rd party test results.

· Packaging of cannabis concentrates, vape cartridges, and non-cannabis inventory.

· Optimize workflow and work efficiently.

· Ensure that proper protective equipment is being used.

· Practice transparent communication with all team members.

Skills & Qualifications:

● Must be 21 years of age or older

● Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Board

● Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time

● High School degree or equivalent

● Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.

Physical Requirements:

· Frequently required to stand, walk, & sit

· Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

· Frequently required to bend, squat, and twist

· Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting, and fine manipulation

· Required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
