Job description
We are looking for a talented Working Sous Chef with strong leadership to join our team immediately. The Sous Chef candidate must be able to think on the fly and have creativity, The Sous Chef will be responsible for leading a team of dynamic individuals and rallying them around a unique service culture that leaves a lasting impression with guests and co-workers alike.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position, must be in a fast-paced, fine dining environment
- Individual must be organized, punctual, and able to thrive in a past paced, busy environment.
- Create and assist in menu development, ordering
- Helpful to have an up to date Serv Safe certification
- Must be able to work independently, but as a team player
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be a self-motivator and motivator of others.
- Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
- Must be able to relate to all levels of guests and management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Successful culinary production for the banquet / catering operation
- Excellent leader and trainer
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
