Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will primarily support the President and CEO, and the Chief Financial Officer of Textron Systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages meeting logistics, notes, and coordinates follow-up actions and flow of information to the Executive Leadership teams.
- Interacts with Corporate Executives and Government and community officials to plan meetings, conferences, and seminars.
- Travels with the President and CEO to support tradeshows and team meetings.
- Coordinates calendars for executive leaders, plans travel, and processes expense reports and invoices.
- Leads other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization.
- Assists in the planning, creation, and editing of executive-level presentations and materials, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
- Coordinates adherence to deadlines and completion of reports and projects within the team.
- Acts as an extension of the President and CEO and executive leaders, working closely with other supporting positions.
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy are required to interface with senior management, across organizations, internal and external customers, or government and community officials.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Exceptional computer skills including intermediate or higher-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook and other business applications.
- Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve objectives including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrates a high-level of integrity and a pro-active approach to customer service.
- Ability to communicate with remote executives effectively and proactively.
- Ability to handle complex assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong planning and organizational skills and able to demonstrate key attention to details; demonstrated track record of project management preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to form and maintain effective working relationships.
- Must be available to travel on occasion to provide support to the President & CEO. Travel could be up to 20%, with some flexibility available.
Education:
- High school diploma required. Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 6+ years administrative support experience
