Assists the events team in the planning and implementation of events for The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. Entities Include: the Dean's Office, departments, centers, student organizations, development/advancement and internal/external Clemson University units. Assists development officers/departmental chairs with college and advisory boards' logistics and meetings. Supports special events and development activities within the college. Works closely with college donors serving in leadership roles. Other Duties as Assigned.

JOB DUTIES:


65% - Essential - Event Planning:
Assists with the organizing and managing the college's internal and external events. Including but not limited to: Honors and Awards Day, Beta Gamma Sigma, 1st Friday Parade Tailgate, Fall Family Weekend, and Homecoming. Work with departments/centers to assist with event planning. Coordinate events for College of Business student organizations. Assist with the set up of the Football Suite and game day events.

**Events may require working some nights and weekends**

20% - Essential - Meeting Support:
Assists the events director with college and advisory board meetings including meeting logistics, preparing of meeting space, documents, content and minutes.

10% - Essential - Administrative Support:
Coordinate with student assistants to support college events and board meetings. Create run of show, timeline, bios, and seating charts for the Dean, if needed.

5% - Essential - Development Support:
Provides event support to the Development team for both internal and external events. Travel may be required to set up event.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


High School or equivalent and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:


Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Business, Hospitality or Events

WORK SCHEDULE:


Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 04 ($ 32,000.00 - $ 38,000.00)

Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
