Description

SAIC is seeking an ERP CGI Advantage HRM Support Analyst to support of City of Anaheim team. This employee will act as one of the primary applications support analyst in maintaining the City of Anaheim Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) CGI Advantage HRM (Human Resource Management) Application in terms of production support issues, patch management, change control, developing interfaces and maintenance, reports development and maintenance, and troubleshooting/resolving user issues. They will also function as a point of contact in supporting the various activities surrounding the operations of the ERP CGI Advantage systems.

This hybrid position is three days on-site, two days remote each week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules and technical environment to be able to provide production support to users of the CGI Advantage HRM (HR and Payroll) application.
  • Follow through on all production issues and customer inquiries to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize and assign target completion dates for production fixes and change controls in conjunction with the client and team members.
  • Maintain the client’s business processes and operations to be able to provide support to business applications users and vendors and for business applications maintenance (i.e. version upgrade, apply patch, etc.)
  • Follow the change management process for all production fixes and change controls.
  • Follow the escalation process for all production issues and coordinate the effort to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues from users of the ERP CGI Advantage HRM application and lead the effort to perform root cause analysis for production issues and be able to design solutions to avoid recurrence of the same issue.
  • Interact with city staff and vendors in resolving issues and other business related matters in maintaining the city’s ERP CGI Advantage HRM application
  • Develop, migrate and maintain scheduled and online InfoAdvantage reports using Business Objects and BIRT in supporting CGI InfoAdvantage reports users
  • Able to support the ERP systems 24x7 business operations including nightly batch jobs and be available onsite during the city’s business hours.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years relevant experience. Masters degree and 3 years of experience
  • Educational background preferably in the fields of Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Must have working experience in supporting and maintaining an ERP system specifically CGI Advantage HRM (Human Resource Management), ESS and InfoAdvantage Reporting
  • Must have hands-on programming experience with any of the following VBScript, JavaScript/Java, PL/SQL or any other SQL equivalent versions
  • Must have working experience in developing and maintaining reports using Microsoft PowerBI, and/or other reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects and BIRT (Business Intelligence Reporting Tool)
  • Must have working experience using ETL tools such as Pervasive Data Integrator
  • Must have working experience in providing production application support and interact with business owners and application users including troubleshooting/resolving application related issues
  • Must have working experience with relational databases such as Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
  • Must have experience in applications development, version upgrades, regression testing and system implementation
  • Must have excellent verbal communications, interpersonal skills, technical writing and documentation skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment with good problem solving, organization and planning skills
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and provide off-hours support for production related business applications issues and/or technical environment support
  • Must have the ability to train application users and develop technical documentation and/or user guides
  • Must be a United States citizen; be willing and able to pass a LiveScan background per the City of Anaheim’s requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working experience in supporting/maintaining CGI Advantage Financial, Performance Budgeting system is a plus
  • Working knowledge of batch jobs scheduling tool is a plus

Target salary range: $115,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
