Cimarron is seeking an Isometric Coordinator to support the Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The ML2 will be used, like the first mobile launcher, as the platform for assembling and testing the Space Launch System (SLS) in the Vehicle Assembly Building at the Kennedy Space Center, transporting the rocket to Launch Complex 39B, and supporting the vehicle’s launch. The platform includes various interfaces for fueling the rocket, providing power and data, and a crew access arm.

This position is supporting an initial 6-month contract. This opportunity offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for additional cash-in-lieu of benefits.

Key Duties:

  • Interface and coordinate with layout designers, pipe stress engineers, and pipe support engineers to resolve issues and move isometrics through.
  • Coordinate production and sign-off.
  • Coordinate with project construction and fabricator shops to control required pipe spool modifications and track metrics.



Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of isometric work processes, including interfacing with fabrication shops.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years of related experience, or Associate degree and 1 or more years of experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Prior plant design experience.
  • Prior Bechtel project experience.
  • 3 or more years of related experience, or Associate degree and 2 or more years of experience.
