Job Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work with limited supervision, independently within authority limits

• Ability to establish priorities and set daily objectives to meet deadlines

• Must have a general knowledge of sheet metal fabrication concepts and processes

• Computer skills: including 3D CAD Software (SolidWorks is a plus), AutoCAD, Windows OS, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Experience Required:

• Proficient in SolidWorks: 1 year (Preferred)

• Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent

• Manufacturing, engineering and/or design experience (Preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use SolidWorks to develop 3D sheet metal designs and drawings

• Ability to interpret customer drawings and specifications

• Assist with design of tooling and fixtures

• Generate program files for press brakes and fiber laser

• Estimate new and existing projects using Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of sheet metal and mechanical properties

• Ability to adhere to company standards and procedures. * Must follow safety procedures

• Communicate with sales staff and customers on new and existing products

• Perform additional related duties as assigned or requested

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with up to 20% of any given day on production floor; light physical effort may be required

• Workdays are Monday through Friday 7:00am and 4:30pm

• Personal Protective Equipment when required
