SET THE COURSE
The Email Specialist III will own the day-to-day operations, process, and calendar for the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and opportunities that support top line growth initiatives for businesses including eCommerce, Retail, Restaurants, Outlets, and Furniture. This role will work closely with multi cross-functional teams and departments and is accountable to drive strategy, manage planning, implement actions, and conduct analysis to optimize email marketing. The ideal candidate is result-oriented with a proven track record of successfully scaling email marketing to meet strategic visions. This includes developing email strategy, creative briefs, calendar development, customer retention programs, personalization, optimization, and presenting highly relevant messages for guests at each lifecycle touchpoint. Additionally, this position is expected to be knowledgeable in all product initiatives, key events, company milestones, and seasonal calendars. The Email Marketing Specialist will serve as a product expert for Tommy Bahama’s email platform tool and will ensure the leverage of complete sets of functionalities to drive engagement and revenue.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

  • Project management across all phases of production including calendar, concepts, briefs, and creative including cross functional coordination from ideation through to QA and deployment.
  • Create and own comprehensive audience segmentation and provide visibility and recommendations into list composition and growth by region, persona, industry, and sales segment.
  • Enhance tools to communicate, create and manage email marketing strategy.
  • Executes, owns and analyzes weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on standard email metrics, as well as impact on funnel performance.
  • Compile, track, and analyze KPIs to help identify and implement ongoing tests and new tactics in an effort to continually drive improved results.
  • Partner with data teams to communicate new audience requirements.
  • Understanding of customer journey and ability to optimize for conversion at all points of funnel, broader than opens, clicks, and revenue.
  • Manage partnership with email service provider and other 3rd party vendors to communicate requirements and milestone dates as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required.
  • Secure appropriate promotion codes, disclosures, and terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams in creation and execution of email marketing campaigns to ensure we are speaking to our guests in an authentic and targeted style.
  • Develop A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize creative design and campaign performance.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business or relevant work experience
  • Generally, 5+ years working in email marketing creating campaigns to drive traffic and revenue, increase guest time on site, and enhance guest journey/experience.
  • Retail/Ecommerce experience and understanding required.
  • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, ESPs, Adobe Analytics, Smartsheet, and Invision
  • Experience iterating A/B tests focusing on formulating approved hypothesis, proper test set up, and thorough analysis and report out of results.
  • Proficient with BI/reporting tools analyzing guest data in an ecommerce environment.
  • Ability to build complex triggered, multi-stage email nurture journeys.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to embrace change, seek additional learning, and keep abreast of new technology.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, project management, and planning skills
  • Highly collaborative, putting the shared team goals first.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with team members and 3rd party vendors to optimize email marketing.

Rate Range: $66,000 to $97,212 annually
