As an EDI Integration Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration processes within Boomi and ActiveMQ according to business requirements. In addition, EDI Integration Engineers will provide guidance implementing in accordance with industry and company integration best practices as well as work with the QA team to isolate and debug integration issues. This position is a member of the software development team and reports to the EDI Manager.
Responsibilities:
EDI Integration Engineers are responsible for attending all relevant team meetings and taking appropriate workloads based on their abilities. Integrations are expected to be well commented and features/bug fixes should be well documented. EDI Integration Engineers are expected to work on all aspects of application integrations, servicing internal as well as external clients and applications. EDI Integration Engineers are expected to be available to aid and mentor other Software Engineers on the team. EDI Integration Engineers are responsible for actively participating in discussions about new integration designs and troubleshooting of all software development related issues. EDI Integration Engineers are expected to be a part of the off hours production deployment team.
Requirements:
  • Expert Level: Boomi Integration, ActiveMQ, Postgres
  • Expert Level: ANSI X12 EDI Concepts
  • Expert Level: Formats: JSON, XML, EDI (204, 990, 214, 210, 997), HTML
  • Expert Level: Transports: SFTP, AS2 (Certs, MDN)
  • Intermediate Level: HTML, XSLT
  • Intermediate Level: Linux
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills
Preferred:
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience working in a small team
  • Experience working with Agile-Scrum methodology
