Perricone Juices is a citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida. We are looking to hire a Document Control Coordinator to join our team!

$500 SIGN ON BONUS!!

8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays

A Document Control Coordinator responsible for collecting and validating the daily food safety monitoring documents. In addition, performing monthly internal audits for selected departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for gathering daily production paperwork to include chlorine checks, pasteurization charts, etc. and verify all paperwork is completed, filed, labeled, and provided to SQF Practitioner for review and approval.
  • Assess quality retains and discard. Also, record/communicate any issues with retains.
  • Assist FSQA manager with verification of company suppliers.
  • Weekly Lab inventory of reagents, supplies, etc.
  • Review product on hold, rechecks, etc. and communicate with FSQA manager.
  • Provide coverage as a Quality Technician check the temperature of product on the yard.
  • Complete monthly internal audits.
  • Complete affidavits for incoming juice in tanks and drums.
  • Perform sensory evaluations of juice.
  • Prepare and ship samples as requested.
  • Serve as a back-up for a QC technician.
  • Daily, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Adheres to company policies and ensure that all SQF, Organic, Non-GMO procedures are followed to prevent cross contamination.
  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as graphs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of organization as well as members of management and outside vendors.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of how to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook including electronic communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIROMENT

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
