Driver Check In

• In the driver check-in role, receive drivers paperwork and verify information accuracy, work with accounting reconciling invoices, credits, invoice register, and disposition of checks and cash back to accounting;

Dispatch

• Work within Produce Pro identifies orders that are scheduled for 2nd runs.
• Print paperwork, pull orders and stage for delivery assignment
• Conduct post inspection of vehicles at driver check-in identifying damages, cleanliness, and any repairs needed as outlined on the driver’s post inspection report;
• Directs drivers where pallets are to be returned and where product returns go;
• Instructs the driver to report to the transportation office for further assignments prior to departure;
• Monitor the parking lot frequently making sure arriving trucks are parked correctly, reefers are turned off and verify all trucks have rear wheels chocked;
• Answer emails from Sales providing a response and resolution involving late customer complaints;
• Attend as needed to late customer complaints, special deliveries communicating with driver about the same;
• Work together with Transportation Manager to have an understanding what trucks in shop for service and coordinate PM drop offs and pickups;
• Delivery Driver route assignment and responsibilities (to qualify)

Routing

• Will help with day to day routing duties.
• May be asked to cover for routing shift due to vacation or sickness
