ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will lead the Software Quality Assurance team for our Connected Fitness products team (Bike, Bike+, Tread, Row, Guide and Tread+) with the goals of increasing test automation, defining quality metrics and helping create a software release process for future growth.

Critical to this role is experience with creating and operating test automation for consumer electronics products at scale, involving both hardware and software components.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Partner with Connected Fitness software application, systems and firmware teams to define and execute on overall QA strategy.
  • Define and measure overall quality metrics for software releases to give insights into how our products evolve from a quality perspective.
  • Iterate and improve upon our existing Software QA processes to reduce time needed to fully qualify our releases and integrate the improvements into our CI/CD process.
  • Define, implement and own Connected Fitness end to end test automation, including creating tooling, test frameworks and resourcing to achieve this.
  • Manage the team, and its members through the full employee lifecycle.
  • Grow team capabilities by mentoring existing members, hiring into key positions and automating existing QA processes.
  • Drive cross functional quality initiatives within the Connected Fitness team, and across the company.
  • Regularly communicate with colleagues and executives about initiatives in the SW QA space

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • Education and/or equivalent work experience in computer science, engineering or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in software QA
  • Proven ability to build and maintain test automation teams and tooling necessary to support them
  • 5 years of experience of system level testing
  • 7 years of experience on end to end software testing
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience with test automation for embedded firmware, Android applications and Android systems
  • Leadership of QA teams >15 people
  • Excellent communication skills, and an ability to summarize complex technical issues
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, Java or other

Base Salary: $218,600.00 to $284,200.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
