Job Description:
The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing initiatives across all marketing channels thereby embracing and strengthening Crossroads' image and brand, to attract and retain patients. This position will lead a team that will leverage opportunities in D2C and B2B channels. The Director of Marketing has a strong passion for the social and web space, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing a growing staff, multiple projects, and problem solving. This position is full-time and can be remote or based in our Greenville, South Carolina Corporate Office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned.

  • Continue to develop and strengthen the company's voice and unique messaging to build brand awareness, relevance, reputation, and esteem among target audiences and ensure that brand standards are maintained across all channels.
  • Develops and executes, from conception to production, an array of publicity, promotional, communication, and marketing materials utilizing a variety of print and digital media.
  • Oversees the creation and production of printed materials, social media outlets, website design, and additional content management.
  • Assists with design and management of logo, brochures, web presence, social media and other outward facing company branding efforts.
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained across all channels and ensure high levels of creativity and effectiveness in the creation of all branding and marketing content.
  • Works with Chief Marketing Officer to develop a company marketing plan, budget, and execution strategy.
  • Managing the company's annual marketing budget and reporting actual spend vs budget monthly.
  • Coach, mentor, and raise the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent.
  • Provide support and recognition for your team and effectively foster teamwork that drives motivation and retention.
  • Participate in the training, evaluation of individual development, onboarding, and mentoring of staff.
  • Oversee and manage social media strategies as well as programs with an emphasis on growing market share.
  • Collaborate in the creation of a comprehensive editorial calendar for all digital and print communications.
  • Analyze content performance via data analysis and provide constructive guidance and recommendations on initiative performance to drive thoughtful on-site and off-site update recommendations and optimizations.
  • Analyze SEO performance data and provide ongoing recommendations to improve organic visibility across all web properties.
  • Manage partner agencies ensuring work is done on time and within budget. Partner closely with them on an ongoing structured basis to develop integrated strategies.
  • Establish and manage internal processes and procedures (e.g., project deliverables, reporting).
  • Build and leverage connections to ensure that influences within targeted audiences know and appreciate the Company's message.

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS in marketing or business is required, MBA or MA in Marketing preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience and at least 5 years in a Leadership/Management role.
  • Must have a proven (5+ years) track record and managing, mentoring, developing, and growing a Marketing Department.
  • Proven ability to lead a proactive marketing organization and ensure accountability for results that maximize contribution to business objectives.
  • Must have proven track record of driving revenue growth within a leadership role for a consumer-focused organization, with preference for experience in a dual B2C and B2C model.
  • Must have demonstrated experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, including SEM, Paid Social and SEO, and analyzing marketing data (Google analytics).

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, mean, mode and median ability to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

The employee occasionally lifts/carries paperwork, files, office supplies, up to 20 lbs., pushes/pulls exerting up to 5-10 lbs. force, opening doors, file drawers, pushing files in drawers, and kneeling/crouching and/or ability to reach lower file drawers, file stretching to store of retrieve materials. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Frequent sitting at desk or computer while typing, completing paperwork, or meeting with patients.
