PAY RANGE

$150,000 - $180,000 Annual Salary - Pay based on applicable experience and qualifications

POSITION OVERVIEW

MidPen Housing is a medium-size affordable housing company in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we are seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our IT Operations team. The Director of IT will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all IT functions including network infrastructure, telecommunications, data management, solutions development and end-user support.

This is a hybrid position, based on current MidPen policy of working Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Foster City Office. Mon, Wed and Fri, option to work from home or the office. When working from home, requires a reliable internet connection.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with the overall business objectives of the organization
• Manage and oversee all IT operations including network infrastructure, data management, and end-user support
• Plan, budget and manage IT related expenses
• Ensure the security and integrity of company data and networks
• Identify and evaluate new technologies that could improve the company's operations
• Provide guidance and direction to the IT team
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Perform related duties as required and other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience with budget management and forecasting
• Experience in the affordable housing industry is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, web applications development and data management
• Experience with budget management and forecasting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

• Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, frequently sitting
• Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 25 pounds
• Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl
