Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is currently seeking a Cook for our Long Term Care Facility
- Preparation of daily meals according to menu plan, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Able to manage portion control, ensuring proper preparation of select foods to meet individual need
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Demonstrates organizational skills
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of regulatory requirements as related to food preparation, serving, delivery and storage
- Demonstrates competency with maintaining kitchen safety and infection control principles
- Able to communicate appropriately with a diverse group of individuals including residents, family members, facility staff and persons from outside the organization
- At least one year of applicable experience is preferred
- Current knowledge of job-related state and federal regulations
- Must be capable of regular attendance
- Must meet all local health regulations, including criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
- Serv Safe Certification preferred
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
