We're actively searching for a career motivated and experienced detailer to oversee operations of our state-of-the-art detail facility. You must be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change, and customer service is your #1 concern. The right individual will be responsible to maintain our standards of excellence for the high-end services we offer.

You'll be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the operations of the detail department which includes sustaining the operational efficiency and day-to-day operations while executing long-term strategic planning to ensure depart revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and refurbish new and used vehicles prior to delivery to customers and for lot inventory

• Provide training to detail department staff as needed for them to perform their job properly

• Inspect newly arrived transport vehicles for any damage prior and working with the Collision Center Manager to ensure all damage is reported within 24 hours or less.

• Maintain shop capacity, efficiency and productivity

• Maintain shop supplies and make sure operations of tools and shop equipment is maintained

• Monitor the availability of Detailers and inform Management on absences or delays

• Use internal detail orders and pre-delivery inspections/checks to help reach production goals and complete internal work in a timely manner

• Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency to Management

• Inspect finished product thoroughly and report any discrepancies to the Sales Manager prior to vehicle delivery

• Scheduling and dispatching work to all employees

• Posting and invoicing jobs

• Take calls and make customer appointments

• Ensure the shop is clean at the end of each workday and ready for the next morning

Job Requirements:
