Job Description


The Deposit & Reporting Services Specialists 3 is responsible for servicing and supporting new and existing deposit accounts for both retail and business/commercial business lines, Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and Health Savings Account (HSA). Support includes account maintenance and document review. Individuals will be responsible to perform crucial data verification by monitoring new and existing legal account documentation, Beneficial Ownership Certificates, various reports and assist with account maintenance projects, research and processing undeliverable mail for the bank.

In addition, this position requires in-depth knowledge and the ability to process Garnishments and Levies which could include moderately complex research into state laws and federal laws and regulations, plus be able to read and interpret legal documentation. This position also processes Affidavit of Collections, Date of Death Verification and Decedent Notifications. The Deposit & Reporting Services team is responsible for various annual projects which this position would assist with.

A successful specialist can quickly navigate multiple resources, stay current with changing legal and regulatory requirements, collaborate and consult with peers, legal counsel, managers and multiple business lines at all levels of the organization to assist with complex situations to ensure exceptional service and support to both internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A combination of education and experience generally attained through a High School Diploma or GED and 5 years banking experience, or educational equivalent.
  • Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Deposit Accounts, including Individual Retirement Account and Health Savings Account.
  • In-depth knowledge of Garnishments and Levies.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams with all levels of employees.
