Spur, a digital staffing agency, is looking for a hard-working and punctual cafeteria nutrition program driver in the Marietta City Schools area. This position is 630 Am -1:30 Pm Monday through Friday, though the hours may fluctuate based on volume. The primary purpose of the position is to deliver to various off-site school nutrition programs and to maintain the supplies in the MCS warehouse under the supervision of the School Nutrition Director.

SALARY AND HOURS:

$16.00 per hour and approx. 30-35 hours/week during school hours. Start at 6:30 Am and get off at 1:30 Pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to pas a background check ( cost $50)Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Physical: Must be able to physically complete the tasks listed below required for this position, with reasonable accommodation.
Experience: One year experience in warehousing operation, preferable institutional foods.
Skills, Knowledge and Performance Requirements: Drivers must have a valid GA drivers license.

ABILITIES

• Ability to maintain inventory on system software
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Ability to maintain and account for warehousing operation.
• Ability to safely use a pallet jack and walking fork lifts in the confined spaces of the MCS warehouse and freezer.
• Ability to safely use a two-wheeled hand truck to move food and supplies in and out of school store rooms, coolers and freezers.
• Ability to deal with a variety of positions and personalities (delivery people, central office staff, maintenance staff, and school food service employees) in a pleasant manner.
