Eckert Hyundai and Genesis of Denton is a family-owned and operated organization with a strong financial foundation and over 20 + years in the automotive industry. We are currently hiring for a full time Porter. This is a great role to get your feet wet in the automotive industry if you are ultimately interested in sales, technician, advisor and parts or admin roles. Our last 3 porters moved into technician, parts and advisor roles within 6 months. In addition to BENEFITS like paid time off, 401k, Health and Dental insurance, management believes in training and promoting from within. This is a great position to start your career and gain experience with hands-on on-the-job training. This role also supports a flexible schedule-- students, parents, retirees, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver vehicles to customer residences and repair facilities
- Safely shuttle customers to and from the dealership
- Maintain a neat appearance of vehicle inventory on the lot
- Fuel vehicles as directed
- Basic office tasks including filing, answering phones, etc
- Manage dealership appearance, including water plants, wipe doors and remove trash
- Running daily errands as directed by management
Qualifications:
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record consistent with company policy and insurance carrier requirements
- Professional appearance and positive customer-facing attitude
- Trustworthy and respectful of customer belongings
- Strong listening skills and ability to follow directions well

Schedule: 35-45 hours per week. Saturdays are required, 9am to 6pm. Remaining hours can be scheduled during open hours, 7:30am to 7pm Monday through Friday.
