Day Care Assistant (Antelope/North Highlands)

Well established family childcare program looking to hire a Child Care assistant to work Monday through Friday and every other Saturday from 1pm-6pm. I serve children aged 1 month to 12 years. I need someone who is 100% reliable, flexible, and full of energy!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Over 18 years of age
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Proof of current immunizations (Measles and Pertussis)
• Current TB Test
• Background check
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Enjoy working with children between 0-12 years of age

Job Description:

Ensure the health and safety of all children in the program at all times. Play, teach, and support children in the program in developmentally appropriate ways and support learning in the areas of social, emotional, and physical development. Monitor the daycare environment cleaning and organizing as needed to keep the children safe and healthy. This may include; cleaning tables and chairs, disinfecting toys, organizing play area, and ensuring children are engaged in appropriate activities. Serving and preparing meals and snacks. Most importantly- actively engage with the children in the program with energy and care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Signing bonus

• Antelope, CA 95843: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
