Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.

We are now hiring a Day Program Manager in Frederick, MD to support individuals and staff in a community based setting.

Starting salary: $47,000.00 annually

Responsibilities:

• Assist with collecting all billing in a timely manner and checks for accuracy.
• Assist with payroll in Kronos, by fixing missed punches and completing allocations.
• Check Therap regularly, to ensure all T-Logs and ISP data are entered daily and follows up with staff to get documentation completed and filed monthly.
• Input/Update/Discontinue all ISP programs.
• Assist with planning and facilitating weekly Day Program activities.
• Medication administration and meal preparation.
• Provide on-going supervision and support for community integration.
• Ensure medical consultation forms are completed by the physician.
• Monitor and report health and medical needs of individuals.
• Document individual’s daily progress toward completing established goals, based on their ISP’s.
• Document daily outings on outing logs and behaviors on ABC Behavior charts.
• Assist in building a support network between the individual, family members and the community.
• Work will take place in the community and residential settings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of community services.
• Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent lifting, stretching and other physical exertion during positioning of a consumer or consumer’s equipment.
• Work will take place in community and residential settings.
