Position

Customer Support – primary responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and voice mails from customers to answer questions, troubleshoot and resolve issues with their products. (Currently most questions will be customers needing help with the fan or light not functioning. Future calls will be about our smart products that are about to launch.)
• Manage parts orders: enter orders, print labels, pack and ship parts
• Document customer interactions via Excel spreadsheet and provide quarterly reports to corporate team
• Keep track of parts inventory, submit parts order requests to maintain inventory levels, keep parts organized in office and at offsite storage unit

Office Support - We are a small office and a team environment. All members of our team wear many hats and support each other as needed. Extra responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Logistics – assist with getting items shipped all over the world and then track to ensure delivery
• Accounting – assist with invoicing and other small tasks as needed
• Product Development – develop technical expertise and give feedback by testing and interacting with our products

What we’re looking for:

• Customer service experience (2+ years preferred, but not required)
• College degree - preferred but not required
• Technical skills – candidate must be comfortable with Smart Home Products – it’s what we’re all about!
• Detailed oriented – will be keeping track of many product parts, filling out reports, and managing many tasks
• Positive attitude, team oriented, independent worker, time-management skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction is key to being successful in this position.
• Team oriented and can-do attitude – our team enjoys working with each other and all are happy to work together to get things accomplished. We want someone who can work well alone or with several people (inside our office as well as with team members in our other offices)
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Zoom. Position will also require you to work in Zen Desk and Ship Station, training provided.

What else?

• Hybrid position – position will start in our John’s Creek office and then possibly progress to working part in office, part at home. A good internet connection will be needed at home to answer calls via a phone app and provided laptop.
• Potential for growth and building a customer service team as business grows and new products are launched.

Pay: From $39,000.00 per year
