Customer Service Desk Operator - Bicester - Hybrid Working

Position: Customer Service Desk Operator

Location: Bicester

Salary: Up to £26,000 + shift allowance

You will be entitled to a 20% shift allowance when covering rotational shifts.

Vibe Recruit has partnered up with a client who is seeking a Customer Service Desk Operator to join their team. The company helps provide a combination of complex services in order to make critical effort to enhance and improve the UK's defence supply chain.

Great opportunity for a Customer Service Desk operator who is seeking a fast paced, rewarding and high-profile role to make an impact. You will be responsible in providing support to customers on Operations/Exercises across the UK and worldwide.

Full training will be provided. Hybrid working will be available after 6 weeks training period. (2 days in office and 3 days work from home available)

Responsibilities:

• Receive, record and resolve customer queries by telephone/via Komodo
• Log all calls appropriately to ensure all customer interaction is recorded on the ticket
• Provide the reference number to each individual case raised
• Answer incoming calls within a limited time frame
• Communicate any unresolvable tickets to a Tier 2 agent when required
• Ensure all responses back to the Customer are within 24 hours where possible
• Any other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Able to communicate clearly - good written and verbal communication
• Able to prioritise workload
• Good IT skills
• Previous experience of working within a call centre environment would be preferred

Clearance Required:

Please note that you must be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance (BPSS).

Shifts can vary:

08:00 - 16:30 (Monday - Fridays)

07:30 - 18:00 (Monday - Sunday: rotational shift cover)

13:30 - 00:00 (Monday - Sunday: rotational shift cover)

22:00 - 08:30 (Monday - Sunday: rotational shift cover)

You will be entitled to a 20% shift allowance when covering rotational shifts for the team.
