Location: Northallerton, Hybrid Working

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing all enquiries in line with local and central government requirements
• Dealing with customer enquires via telephone, web chat, email or on social media
• Responding to general enquiries but also dealing with some very specialist areas of work
• Proving a quality, timely response to all customers
• Effective communicating with a wide range of people

This is a varied role where no two calls will be same. Enquiries could range from reporting of a broken streetlight to someone wishing to access our services on behalf of a family member.

Based in our County hall offices in Central Northallerton we are in prime location for easy access to local transport links and commuting routes for local Areas such as Darlington, Stockton and Middlesbrough and surrounding rural villages.

The role is hybrid working therefore a mixture of office based working and working from home. There is a requirement for all new recruits to attend induction training at County Hall this will be for an approximate period of 8 weeks. All necessary IT equipment will then be provided for home working therefore you will need a quiet, safe and secure place to work during your home working hours.
