This Administrative Assistant position is responsible for assisting with Customer Performance Management (CPM) and is accountable to the CPM Administration Manager and to the Director of Category Management for various duties when necessary for instructions. The CPM Assistant may be assigned responsibilities involving generating daily/weekly reports, research for Ops additional Weight Requests, Oversold Report review, and generating various Sales Reports.

What exactly will you do in this role?

  • Manage daily and weekly reporting
  • Manage requests for augmented weights from different entity Operations groups, implementing changes that have been approved.
  • Assist Category Managers with Field Desired Inventory Level requests, revised Job Lot checks and weekly Bin Capacity Checks
  • Assist with Sku Swap Outs, SSR completions, Online Price Shops and Cross Reference research
  • Updating Order Class for open orders
  • Manage order projects such as Seasonal or other strategic Push orders
  • Assist in preparing for line reviews or other customer events
  • This position will eventually become a backup for weekly generating, pulling down and processing data on Sundays; creating/managing item tie-out in Tiny Term (Thoroughbred); manual price changes in Tiny Term (Thoroughbred); entering, manipulating, and/or canceling orders in Tiny Term (Thoroughbred).
  • Manage and/or execute other projects of comparable significance as required from time to time to meet corporate goals and objectives

What are we looking for?

  • Proficiency in the use of computers and technology, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Access, and Teams
  • Strong Excel knowledge, which specifically includes filtering and sorting data, and familiarity with the VLOOKUP function and setting up pivot tables
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees, management and customers including across multiple departments.
  • Possess or quickly develop a good understanding of the overall supply chain as it relates to our industry
  • Must possess and maintain a current unrestricted (other than for vision correction) driver’s license along with adequate on-going auto insurance on personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelors’ or Associate degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus, however, a combination of motivation, experience, skill, and education is acceptable
  • Experience in building materials a plus
