Job Summary
Responsible for performing limited maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain the appearance and condition of the interior and exterior areas of the corporate office and other Company facilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial needs of building or properties.
• Assists partners in the corporate office with meeting room set up.
• Monitors and communicates janitorial needs to Custodial Services Supervisor.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and break rooms for cleanliness.
• Restocks supplies as needed.
• Makes minor repairs on building and fixtures.
• Maintains sanitary and safe working environment according to BGC standards.
• Complies with Brookshire Grocery Company policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
• Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.Education, Experience, and Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• One or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.Physical Demands
• Frequently required to use finger movements (ex. cleaning or sorting).
• Frequently required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions or ability to adjust focus.
• Frequently required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
• Frequently required to stand or walk.
• Frequently required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Frequently required to bend, kneel or squat.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop or crawl.Work Context and Environment
• Work is generally performed in an office environment.
• Continuously exposed to cleaning agents.
• Occasionally exposed to wet, slippery, or damp conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to outside temperatures and weather.
• Quiet to moderate noise level.
