HCA FL Ft. Watlon Destin Hospital is a 267-bed top-performing quality hospital with over 200 of the most highly respected and qualified physicians in the area. It is the only acute care hospital in the Tri-County area that offers open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center accredited by the Joint Commission and an Accredited Chest Pain Center. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, operates Cat-Scan equipment, positions patients to produce diagnostic radiographs in a safe manner and performs related duties.

EDUCATIONREQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
ARRT registry required
CT registry required within 12 months of hireState of Florida license required
BCLS–AHA Healthcare Provider certification required upon hire
EXPERIENCEREQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT concepts to include: head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, MSK, CTAKnowledge of CT invasive procedures to include biopsy, drainages, etc. and basic knowledge about supplies used such as catheter and biopsy needles
Knowledge of contrast administration and contraindications
