Job Description:
CT Technologists utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT scan technician must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees. Organizes work flow by coordinating CT Scan exams with those of other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Graduate of an Accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Advanced CT Training
  • FL State License as General Radiographer
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Advanced Certification CT ARRT (R)(CT)
  • Basic Life Support AHA or ARC
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages
  • Ability to perform routine procedures in the specialized area of CT scanning
  • Knowledge of the use of CT Computers and printing equipment to perform all CT procedures in a manner consistent with maximum safety and image quality
