Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients following protocols and physician orders • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort and safety • Administer contrast agents and other medications as required by the physician • Operate CT equipment and ensure that images are captured and stored correctly • Analyze and review CT images for quality and accuracy • Work closely with radiologists to ensure proper patient care and image interpretation • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation • Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment • Assist in the training and supervision of other CT Technologists and students as needed
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred • Knowledge of CT equipment operation and maintenance • Ability to work effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Basic computer skills
