• Full responsibility and oversight over all inventory-centric accounting
• Full responsibility for developing and maintenance of standard costs of all manufacturing inventory
• Lead monthly Physical Inventory
• Assist Plant Controller in ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Assist Plant Controller in preparing and analyzing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
• Assists Plant Controller in plant budget preparation based on input provided by other department staff. Update bills of material and routings for the new fiscal year; re-roll the standards to reflect the new material, labor and overhead rates.
• Prepare month-end journal entries critical to closing process.
• Assist in preparing cost quotes for new products and update standards in LN (ERP system).
• Assist in annual and other external and internal audits.
• Actively participates in the continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Safety awareness and system improvement.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Seven or more years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment showing progression to plant controllership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting.
• Must possess excellent organizational, communication and presentation skill sets.
• Ability to excel in a small group that works very closely together
• Ability to work independently and reprioritize deliverables as circumstances require
• Ability to work in fast paced, deadline oriented environment
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced functions such as Pivot Tables or V-lookups, Word & PowerPoint, and integrated accounting systems
• ERP System familiarity/Infor LN experience preferred
