Job description
Established and expanding Coastal South Carolina company is looking for a skilled, experienced copier technician. We are a strong locally owned company and are able to offer an outstanding opportunity to an experienced Field Service Representative.
Responsibilities include:
- On site troubleshooting and repair as well as preventative maintenance of copiers, printers and fax machines
- Installs systems and products by ordering and delivering components; installing equipment; programming systems; completing acceptance tests.
- Maintains records by documenting original system, upgrades, and repairs.
- Maintaining accurate parts inventory
- Establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Qualified candidates must have:
- Functional and technical knowledge of networking
- Digital copier training (preferably primary brand such as Canon, Ricoh, Konica-Minolta or HP)
- Field service experience in the office equipment industry
- Must be reliable and be able to work independently while meeting expectations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and be mobile more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping, kneeling)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive, winning attitude
- High School and Technical school- associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience
