Position Summary/Position

Under the general direction of the Community Resource Center (CRC) Supervisor and Manager, the Community Resource Center Coordinator is responsible for working directly with the CRC Management Team to assist in facilitating and supporting Community Resource Center daily activities. The Community Resource Center Coordinator will be a proactive team player who is also able to work independently, build rapport with diverse IEHP members, the general community and local partner agencies. The Community Resource Center Coordinator will be proactive and responsive to Members’ needs in a friendly and professional manner. Not all duties and responsibilities will apply to all centers. Team Member should be able to perform the job functions under the major duties/responsibilities regardless of location. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

1. Center Operations
a. Provide coverage of the Community Resource Center reception area with excellent customer service and be the concierge of the center as the first person seen in the front lobby area.
b. Act as a liaison to the Member, IEHP as needed to assist Members with appropriate and timely access to services.
c. Act as a Member Advocate in the Community Resource Center.
d. Assist members with initial touchpoint and forward member assistance to Specialist and CRC Community Health Worker, as needed.
e. Responsible to register Community Partners for usage of space to host external meetings and programs. This includes providing proper agreement forms for signatures from partners, providing signed and approved agreements and forms back to the partnering agency and ensuring proper room reservation has been created in the Outlook calendar.
2. Center Rewards Program
a. Coordinate rewards program for the Community Resource Center participants under the direction of the Community Resource Center Supervisor and Manager.
b. Assisting participants in receiving rewards.
3. Quality Assurance Program
a. Demonstration Kitchen
b. Play Area
c. Computer Lab
d. CRC programming areas
e. Member participation data
4. Play Area Coordinator
a. Supervise children in small group settings.
b. Provide care, guidance and development experiences, meeting the appropriate educational and emotional needs of the children.
c. Keep record or each child as necessary to assure quality care.
d. Maintain daily open communication with staff and parents utilizing Play Area.
e. Ensure proper Play Area check in/out process is adhered to. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) Cont Supervisory Responsibilities Leading: Self Experience Qualifications

Two (2) years experience in any/all of the following:
  • Customer service
  • Managed Care/IPA/Clinic Setting
  • Early Childhood Education Units or childcare in a home setting Preferred Experience
Customer service experience preferably in a managed care setting. Community based organization preferred. Education Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Education Professional Certification Professional Licenses Drivers License Required Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License. Knowledge Requirement

Knowledge of Medi-Cal/managed care environment preferred. Understanding of and sensitive to multi-cultural communities. Skills Requirement

Excellent communication, time management, organization, and interpersonal skills. Computer skills. Abilities Requirement

High degree of patience. Must be a strong team player and proactive problem solver capable of accomplishing program goals. Must demonstrate mature judgment, initiative, and critical thinking skills. Commitment to Team Culture

A reasonable salary expectation is between $45,884.80 and $55,993.60, based upon experience and internal equity.
