The CSC Team Supervisor leads a multidisciplinary team including a skills trainer, a peer support specialist, and family partner. The Coordinated Specialty Care Team provides comprehensive evidenced-based services including individual, group, and family therapy, outreach, supportive education, and employment support, as well as case management to adolescents and adults ages 15-30 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. The Supervisor provides both administrative and clinical supervision for all aspects of the program. Tasks are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services.

You will get to:

  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision to all members of the Coordinated Specialty Care Team;
  • Provides individual group and family psychotherapy, assessment, crisis intervention and case management services to clients enrolled in the program;
  • Monitors caseloads, coordinates intakes and discharges, and ensures effective communication and collaboration among team members and individuals and families in the program;
  • Serves as primary contact for clients and families in CSC program;
  • Conducts outreach and enrollment, assessments, development, and implementation of treatment plans, psychoeducational groups;
  • Provides clinical guidance to subordinate staff in risk assessment and management;
  • Provides oversight of all Outreach and community education efforts;
  • Plans, designs, and conducts community education groups and programs;
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with program participants to assist them in developing illness self-management skills;
  • Ensures collection, reporting and analysis of required data;
  • Conducts quality improvement activities, including record review, individual and group supervision, training, and performance evaluation;
  • Assists team in using the Electronic Health Records System (Netsmart) and assures that records are up to date and in conformance with agency standards;
  • Ensures that CSC program staff are trained in and utilizing evidence supported practices including shared decision-making processes;
  • Authorizes and monitors all expenditures for the program;
  • Prepares staff performance evaluations in timely manner;
  • Leads all relevant team meetings;
  • Identifies program and team needs;
  • Assists in the hiring and training of new staff;
  • Maintains compliance with all Department training requirements;
  • Performs other related work as assigned.

You’ll definitely need:

  • Master's degree in Human Services; Two years post-graduate work experience in providing direct clinical services to clients having psychiatric and/or substance abuse disorders
  • Two years post-master's experience providing diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and crisis intervention
  • Licensed in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Clinical Psychologist OR is license eligible (has completed all required education and supervision as required by applicable board) as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist in the state of Texas at the time of appointment; if license eligible, the employee must obtain Texas license at the first available opportunity, but no later than one year after appointment.
  • A valid Texas State Driver’s License.
  • Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel when necessary.

Preferred:

  • Training in working with individuals experiencing First Episode Psychosis (FEP) or commitment to obtain such training upon hire.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • At least one year of experience working with adults or youth experiencing psychosis.
  • At least two years of therapy and case management experience
  • At least two years working in the field of behavioral health
  • Currently licensed in TX as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Clinical Psychologist
  • Fluent and Bilingual in both English and Spanish.

We can pay you:

$53,000-$73,200 annually and benefits eligibility plus good karma for doing good in the world.
