Our company is seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in assisting with the preparation of construction sites, building materials storage, and the assembly of construction materials. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills who is able to work well in a team-oriented environment and is capable of remaining focused even when faced with difficult obstacles or challenges. The construction laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while supporting the overall project.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain clean construction site free of debris and hazards
- Load and off load equipment and materials
- Selective demolition as needed
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Assist other tradesmen such as carpenters, electricians, etc.
- Follow directions of supervisors and foremen.
- May also perform trade specific tasks under the direction and supervision of tradesmen
Qualifications
- Must hold High School Diploma or GED
- Willing to work in various weather conditions and temperatures
- Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Work efficiently within a team and receive instruction
- OSHA 10 Training (Preferred)
- Equipment operator certificate is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Parkesburg, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
